What happens in the initial consultation?
Before the consultation, you will be sent a diet and lifestyle questionnaire. I will also require any relevant medical test results and the names and dosages of any medications and supplements you are taking.
The consultation itself will take up to 90 minutes and I am trained to take your medical, diet and lifestyle history to build up a detailed picture of your health journey up to now. I use this, along with your presenting symptoms, to put together an evidence-based personalised diet, supplement and lifestyle plan, which includes:
- A health plan with weekly targets agreed
- suggested meal plans
- explanatory handouts
- links to useful websites
- letter to your GP (if relevant)
- functional testing (if required)
What happens after the initial consultation?
Health Coaching plus introducing sustainable nutritional changes is a journey and it takes time for the body to rebalance using natural methods. It also takes time to change diet and lifestyle habits that are ingrained. For this reason, I only offer 12 week plans.
This is a much more effective way of working and produces excellent results as it ensures you make the dietary and lifestyle changes necessary for your health by dealing with emotional eating as it arises and by ensuring accountability. A single coaching session creates a good day or week, but lifelong habits take dedication and consistency in moments of weakness, this is when the real work begins.
This produces the best long-term results by far and provides lifelong knowledge for weight and hormone control.

Nutritional Therapy is about changing the way you understand and consume food, which is a process. Changing eating patterns successfully is much easier with weekly coaching. It starts with a detailed 90 min+ Initial Consultation, where I take a full health history and look carefully at your diet and lifestyle. This information, together with your blood test results and the results of any other tests, form the basis for my dietary, lifestyle and supplement recommendations. Over the next weeks, together we ensure that you can make the necessary changes in a fully supported but also accountable way.
Hormone Balance Dietary Plan
Nourishing the body with whole food to optimise hormonal health and detoxify the liver of unwanted Oestrogen. Managing blood glucose levels to prevent unwanted weight gain, high cholesterol, and diabetes. Increase metabolism that slows down during perimenopause causing weight gain and high cholesterol. I am focused on clearing the body of harmful toxins, which is very effective for weight loss, hormone balance and for reducing inflammation.
